Our Team

Greg Tuohy

Greg Tuohy | Managing Director

Greg was appointed Managing Director in June 2011 and is the driving force behind the team at the Cantec Group. Immediately after completing a Science degree at UCC in 1995, Greg was coaxed into joining the family copier/printer business to “give it a go for a year”. The intervening years have seen him graduate from being a delivery boy to an account manager and then company director. His philosophy, handed down from his father, is to ensure that customers can truly depend on the service offered by the Cantec Group. Greg is a dedicated husband and father of two. He reportedly played rugby quite well in the past, but plays golf and five-a-side soccer quite badly now.

Dara Madden

Dara Madden | Sales Director

Dara’s career in the industry began in 1989 as a Field Service Technician and he moved into a Sales Executive role with Canon in 1994. Excelling in this fast-paced sales environment, Dara was promoted to Account Manager in 1999 and from there to a Management position. Dara joined the Cantec Group in 2004 as Sales Director. Armed with over 32 years of experience, Dara places a strong emphasis on building lasting business relationships. In his leadership of a dynamic sales team, he advocates for a full understanding of a customer’s business in order to solve process bottlenecks. His maxim of ‘Do it once and do it right!’ is frequently repeated. Away from the office, Dara & his wife Orla are busy with family life ferrying three active boys to GAA training and swimming sessions. Summer includes trips to the beaches of Clare and Kerry for Surfing – a further bonus of living near the West Coast. In his down time, Dara indulges a passion for classic and vintage motorcycles. When time and weather permit, he escapes for a ride on one of his favourite classic bikes exploring his locality or just enjoying the time away…………bliss.

Your Account Managers

Neil Kennealy

Neil Kennealy | Account Manager

Neil joined Docutec in April 2014 and has almost three decades of experience in Sales & Account Management. He is very client focused and places a strong emphasis on building solid, lasting business relationships. He knows his customers and always takes time to listen and understand exactly what is needed. Professional and dedicated, he strives to deliver complete customer satisfaction. In his free time, he loves to walk on Tramore beach with his dogs, go swimming or work out at the gym. He played rugby in the past with Waterpark RFC and coached at all levels until 2017.He then swopped rugby boots for dancing shoes and was involved with “Strictly Deise Dancing” to fund raise for the Waterford Lions Club. A former winner of this competition, he also accepted the challenge to “ Dance For Life” to raise funds for the Solas Cancer Support Centre. He has been married to Andrea since 1997 and they live in Waterford City..

Dave Purcell

Dave Purcell | Account Manager

Dave joined the Docutec team in 2001 and was appointed Sales Manager six years later. He has almost two decades of account management experience with the Cantec Group and he loves every minute! For Dave, building and nurturing customer relationships is a key element of his role. He places a strong emphasis on understanding his customer’s needs and prides himself on fulfilling their exact requirements. Advancements in technology, more stringent security measures and increased digital transformation in the workplace has seen Dave’s role continue to develop. Thanks to his sales experience and his indepth knowledge of the soft and hardware available, he has taken the lead in project managing several large Managed Print installations around the country in both the public and private sectors. Dave lives in Roscommon with his wife Siobhan and their four children. He is kept quite busy as all four are actively involved in a number of different sports and clubs! In addition, Dave coaches several of the boys and girls Rugby teams for Creggs RFC where he has been volunteering since 2005. He loves giving back to the club that has afforded him so much and was rewarded for his contribution when he was named “Connacht Coach of the Year” in 2015

Malcolm Hughes

Malcolm Hughes | Account Manager

Malcolm joined Docutec in 2012 and brings with him a wealth of experience from the sales industry. Providing the highest possible standard of customer service is one of his key priorities. Malcolm studied Business Studies in LIT. Based in Limerick City, Malcolm travels throughout Limerick and the South West to meet our clients’ requirements.

Paul Forrester Profile

Paul Forrester | Account Manager

Hailing from Dublin originally but now living in Kilkenny, Paul Forrester joined the Docutec team in 2019. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge acquired over a span of 20 years in various sales roles. Paul started in retail and spent six years honing his skills in direct sales and retail management. This was followed by eight years in the media and technology sector. Paul then worked with Bryan S Ryan and from his base in Dublin, managed sales for the greater Leinster area. He brings skills and experience to his role in Docutec as Regional Sales Manager that are complemented by his completion of two part-time Higher Diplomas in Business & Management and Business Management & Marketing. Paul makes the most of his weekends spending time with his three children. He also enjoys hiking and playing golf. Any other spare time is spent cooking, listening to music and playing the drums.

David Garrihy - Cantec Account Manger for Limerick & Dublin

David Garrihy | Account Manager

David Garrihy joined the Docutec sales team in October 2020 as Account Manager. Based in Ennis, Co. Clare, David will look after our customers in counties Galway and Clare. David began his career in the print industry in 1997 as a lithographic printer and in the intervening years, has worked as a digital machine operator, in signage manufacture and production management. He completed a Diploma in Graphic Design with the IACT in 2012 fuelled by his interest in design. He then moved to a sales role in 2013 where it became apparent that he had found his true calling. David is passionate about looking after his customers and making sure that he delivers exceptional service and account management, With 23 years of experience in the industry, he knows the value of listening to and understanding the needs of his customer. He believes that this combines well with his vast practical print experience and expertise. When not at work, David keeps very busy enjoying life and spending time with his partner and their two small children. He makes the most of an outdoor lifestyle by playing golf occasionally, but not as much as he would like, and keeping fit. Any other spare time is spent cooking and enjoying time with family and friends.

Stephen Crowley | Account Manager

Stephen Crowley joined the Cantec Group as part of the Docutec division in March 2021. As Account Manager, he brings with him vast product knowledge and expertise gleaned from over 17 years in sales environments. Based in Cork, Stephen previously worked with Ricoh as Business Development Manager for Munster. Stephen is one of a growing number of SaaS specialists within the Cantec Group and works closely with colleagues from both Docutec and SmartOffice. Highly motivated and driven, Stephen loves every aspect of the sales process – from building lasting relationships with customers through to the buzz of the sale. He is very much a people person and prides himself on his attention to detail and finding the perfect product for every customer. Stephen has been married to Sarah since 2012 and they have three young children, Daniel, Adam and Grace. An avid football man, he is a season ticket holder for Cork City FC and is a Spurs fan. He is the Chairperson of Everton AFC in Cork and is also a coach in the club’s football academy.

Paula O'Gorman

Paula O'Gorman | Design & Marketing Manager

Paula O’Gorman is Promotive's Design & Marketing Manager and is responsible for planning, leading and coordinating the activity of the agency. She is also a key member of the Management team for the Cantec Group. She graduated with a distinction in Design & Communication from Waterford Institute of Technology in 2003 and joined the Cantec Group immediately afterwards. Starting as a junior graphic designer, she now manages her own team at senior management level. Paula continues to study and learn to enhance her work. She has recently completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Marketing and is taking part in a Regional Leaders Programme run in conjunction with Bausch + Lomb, Waterford Chamber Skillnet and Waterford Institute of Technology. Her expertise lies in designing outstanding promotional and marketing materials that exceed customer expectations. She combines creative flair with an eye for detail in her designs and specializes in brand and logo development for both emerging and established customers. She frequently collaborates with our partners Canon and Ricoh to develop marketing materials and offers her considerable design experience on a consultation basis to suppliers and customers alike. Married to Stephen since 2011, Paula loves to spend time together with their beautiful daughters. They like to get out, be active and have lots of fun. In her free time, she enjoys fitness classes, reading and socializing with friends and family.

Don Farrell Profile

Don Farrell | Graphic Designer / Marketer

Don Farrell joined the Design & Print team at Promotive in February 2020 and hit the ground running under Paula’s tutelage. He is a highly creative and talented Graphic Designer with considerable experience in print design. He graduated with honours, in 2012, with a degree in Visual Communications from WIT and has augmented his learning with html and CSS website design courses. He is passionate about design and believes firmly that good design is timeless. He mostly enjoys designing layouts and producing graphics for adverts, brochures and reports but is happy to turn his hand to all the other elements of the role. His interest and experience in Marketing complements his design background and offers a different perspective and greater flexibility to his work. From Waterford, he is living in Passage East and spends most of his free time capturing the beauty of the South East coast on canvas. When not creating, he can be found with friends attending Food, Music & Art festivals, listening to music or enjoying scenic cycle tours.

Lousie McNulty

Louise McNulty | Graphic Designer / Marketer

Louise McNulty joined the Design & Print team at Promotive in February 2020. From Waterford, she graduated with honours from Waterford Institute of Technology with a Degree in Multimedia. Discovering that design is her passion, Louise continued her studies on a part-time basis to earn a further degree in Design Visual Communications. While studying, she worked full-time in fashion retail for a major brand. There, she gained huge experience of the impact of good design on branding, advertising, display and signage. Louise also just completed a certificate in Digital Marketing to complement her marketing skills. Louise thrives on a challenge and loves to get immersed in a project – the more creative, the better. When not at work, she likes to read, travel and spend time with her friends.

Deirdre Spillane - Cantec

Deirdre Spillane| Marketing Content Writer

Deirdre graduated from UCC with an honours degree in French & German and then completed a diploma in Marketing, Advertising & Public Relations. Deirdre’s background is in customer service and office management and she joined the Cantec team in August 2011. She looks after reception, accounts and administration. She works on a part-time basis and when not at work, enjoys cycling, walking and reading.

David Gardiner | Print Production Specialist

David Gardiner joined the Docutec team in September 2019 and is based at the University of Limerick. With over 25 years of experience in the print industry, Dave is the ideal person to manage the newly equipped Print Room which serves the UL campus. He was excited to undertake the challenge of this role and embraced the opportunity to work independently managing the print and finishing needs of a combined staff and student body of 18,200. Dave readily admits that he loves all things “tech” and in particular, loves to learn about new technologies. He enjoys discovering different and improved ways of using the equipment to get the best result for the customer and learning more about the machine in the process. Happily married with two sons, their beloved dog completes the family and gives Dave an excuse to get out and walk every day. In his spare time, he likes to work out at the gym, listen to music and socialize with friends.

Brendan White | Digital Marketing Executive

Brendan White joined the Cantec Group in March 2021. A Waterford-native, he graduated with an Honours Degree in Journalism from Dublin City University in 2013. Since then, Brendan has worked for national and global media companies specialising in content writing, editing and email marketing. He is passionate about writing and thrives on new projects to broaden his knowledge base and help customers grow their websites, online marketing presence and brands. Brendan has combined his journalism expertise with almost a decade in digital marketing roles such as social media marketing, SEO and digital marketing strategies. Always keen to continue his personal development, he is currently enrolled in WIT’s Digital Marketing Practice postgraduate course. From Faithlegg in Co Waterford, Brendan spends most of his free time coaching football teams for Tramore AFC and Waterford FC. When away from the football pitch, Brendan enjoys attending concerts (10 in one year is his record, so far…), endlessly scrolling through Twitter feeds and keeping up to date with the latest tech gadgets.

Paul Murphy

Paul Murphy | Service Manager

Paul Murphy joined Docutec as Service Manager in 2017. This is a very senior role within the company and he has responsibility for our team of 14 technicians. Paul has extensive industry experience having worked for 15 years with Panasonic in various roles. Although he is a Dub, we can forgive him for that as his wife is relatively local! They moved down to South Kilkenny several years ago and the family are fully based here now. In his spare time, Paul likes to get out on his bike. He enjoys spending time with his family and watching sport, notably rugby.

Aishling Colwell

Aishling Colwell | Service Controller

Aishling began her career with Cantec North East Ltd. back in November 1997 as a Telesales Executive. She relocated to Melbourne, Australia in October 2001 and worked for Panasonic Business Systems/Fusion as their Photocopier Service Manager. She returned to Cantec Office Solutions in September 2004 as their Service & Administration Manager until she joined the team at Docutec in November 2015. Aishling has a Diploma in Print Management with Bolton Street DIT and also a Certificate in Retail Management. Her interests include photography, reading, music gigs & watching her favourite sport, rugby. She is also into personal fitness training and completed her first Gaelforce adventure race in May 2014.

Roy Whelan

Roy Whelan | Solutions Director

Roy joined the Docutec team in 2007 and is a qualified Advanced Solutions Level Canon Technician with responsibility for the installation and maintenance of our managed print services. Roy also provides pre-sales support to help the Sales team understand the complexities of a client’s needs and to identify the best solution that meets the customer’s requirements.

Dave Clynes | Senior Systems Consultant

Dave Clynes joined the Docutec team in November 2019. A Systems Specialist, he came armed with over 20 years’ experience and stepped immediately into the role of Senior Systems Consultant. Working within a smaller specialized team, Dave helps to support the Sales team for project management, pre and post installation guidance and MPS consultation. In addition, he assists the service team for product upgrades and training as well as specialist solutions support in products like Therefore, Uniflow and PaperCut. Dave’s is a varied role and combines his expertise with systems and technology with his knowledge of the products and workflow. Working remotely most of the time, from his home in Dublin, he really enjoys every opportunity to meet customers and colleagues on site as required. He also loves to bring his recently acquired Hyundai Kona EV for a spin to the Docutec offices in Limerick, Mullingar and Waterford using team meetings and training as the excuse! Dave is married to Niamh, a primary school teacher, since 2007 and they have three beautiful daughters. Most of his time at the weekend is spent swopping roles between being coach, chauffeur and chef for the family but they all love to get out and hike or walk together too. They have strong family connections to County Mayo and they decamp to the West as often as they can. He has a regular basketball game every week with a local group and he gets out for a round of golf too infrequently to make any difference to his handicap. With a young family, Dave doesn’t have much free time, but he enjoys music and keeping up to speed with all things technology.

James Malone | Service Engineer

Jim is a highly valued member of the Docutec team, having worked with us since 1999. He is a certified Canon intermediate engineer and is responsible for servicing the base of machines in Waterford and Cork. Jim has a science background and continues to nurture his interest in science and technology.

Alan Claughan | Systems Support Associate

I joined the Cantec Group in November 2020 as a Systems Support Associate. Working with the solutions team, we look after customers across the range of Cantec Divisions. I graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Germiston College in South Africa, however my first job was in Networking. I spent 17 years building up my technical experience and skills working as an IT Support Technician for several Global corporations. I literally moved to greener pastures when my family and I came to Ireland in 2020. It was a big move for us but a good one and the role with Cantec is a fantastic opportunity. I am looking forward to combining the experience gleaned in South Africa with the knowledge and in depth training I have received here. In my spare time, I love spending time outdoors with the family. We live near the coast and are making the most of the beautiful sandy beaches. Getting out on my bike for on-road and off-road spins helps clear my head at the weekends and evenings are spent reading and catching up with friends and family.

Mike Arthur

Mike Arthur | Service Support Specialist

Mike graduated from the Limerick School of Marine Radio and Radar as an electronic technician and has more recently successfully completed a computer networking course in the Limerick Institute of Technology. Mike has acquired over 25 years’ experience in the office automation industry, beginning his career with a Limerick based business equipment company before moving to Australia where he took up employment with Ricoh Australia. Mike returned to Ireland in 2005 and joined Docutec in 2006. Mike has extensive experience working on a wide range of brands, makes and models of office equipment which has contributed to his strong fault finding abilities. In his spare time Mike is very involved in his local community and is a member of the local Soccer and GAA clubs and coaches one of the underage soccer teams. Mike is also a member of the Foynes Yacht club and during the summer months enjoys competing in the numerous sailing regattas on the Shannon Estuary.

Philip Crocker

Philip Crocker | Service Engineer

Philip initially trained as a highly specialized communications expert and has travelled extensively around the world applying these skills. He joined Canon in 2000 as a field engineer and remained there until joining Docutec in 2007 as a Senior Field Engineer. He is a certified Canon intermediate engineer and is responsible for servicing the base of machines in Limerick and Kerry. He is involved as assistant coach in schoolboys soccer and also enjoys photography.

Seamus O'Neill

Seamus O'Neill | Sales Support Executive

Seamus joined Docutec in 2010, bringing with him 10 years’ experience in the industry. Seamus is responsible for sales support in the Limerick area, including installations of new equipment. Seamus enjoys rugby, greyhound racing and music.

Stephen O'Gorman

Stephen O'Gorman | Service Engineer

Stephen became a member of the Docutec team in February 2012. He brings a wealth of customer service experience with him from previous roles in business in the Waterford area. Stephen is a certified Canon intermediate engineer and is responsible for servicing the base of machines in Waterford and Cork. He is a keen fitness enthusiast and enjoys playing soccer with Tramore Rangers.

Colin Aitken | Service Engineer

Hailing from just outside Edinburgh, Colin began his career at 16 upon leaving school. He started as a junior technician with a large Canon dealership. Five years later, in 1999, he moved to Ireland where he continued his work with printers and copiers. Since then, Colin has mainly worked with Canon products but has expanded his expertise and experience with Olivetti, Toshiba, Kyocera and Epson. He joined the Cantec Group, working with Docutec in March 2021 and is based in the greater Dublin region. He is delighted to be working with his beloved Canon products again – installing machines and fixing them as required! He has availed of every training opportunity offered by the various manufacturers and is a highly skilled and competent senior technician. A very customer focused person, he loves being on the road, meeting new people and connecting with our customers. Colin has been married to Grainne since 2006 and they have two children. A devoted family man, Colin loves nothing more than spending time outdoors. Spare time is spent hill walking and mountain biking with the family dogs and summers are spent touring and discovering Ireland in their caravan.

Ger Sheehan | Service Engineer

Ger Worked for 16 years with Dell computers as an Electro Mechanical Repair Technician and New Product Introduction Technician on desktop workstation and server systems. He studied in the Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) for four years after Dell. (one year studying Smart Start Plus, Level 6 programme covering computer applications and three years studying Internet Systems Development – BSc, level 7). In his free time he enjoys going to the gym swimming, running, and keeping up to date with new and emerging technologies. Ger is a keen Liverpool fan and is a loyal Munster Rugby supporter.

Niall O'Sullivan | Service Engineer

Niall is a valued member of the Docutec team and has been an engineer in the printer trade industry for some 20 years, working on OCE, Konica Minolta and Canon printers. Before this he studied factory automation in Athlone. Niall has a keen interest in all things technical and rebuilds vintage cars and boats as an expensive hobby.

Ronan Fitzpatrick

Ronan Fitzpatrick | Service Engineer

Ronan joined the Docutec team in 2004 as a computer engineer for their in-house service workshop. In 2005 he moved from this department to work as a photocopier engineer and is trained on black and white, colour and large format printers. He has also completed compTIA, A+ and Network and training. Ronan farms part-time on the family farm and has a keen interest in kayaking, clay pigeon shooting and photography.

Kevin Moran

Kevin Moran | Service Engineer

With over 30 years in the industry, Kevin Moran has a wealth of experience in the service and repair of photocopiers and printers. Kevin started working with Canon UK, in London, in the mid 80’s but moved to Munster when offered a job with Canon Ireland in 2000. He was initially working in Limerick but later moved to Cork where he is now based. We are delighted to have Kevin on our expanding Docutec team. He will support our customers in the South West region with a particular focus on Cork City clients. When not at work, Kevin spends time as a playing member of his local Cricket Club. An avid sportsman, he coaches youth soccer at Midleton FC football club and runs with his local athletics club, Midleton AC. He is currently training for his 4th marathon and hopes to tackle the Dublin City Marathon in October.

Ollie Dowling | Systems Support Associate

Ollie Joined the team in 2018 as Systems Support Associate and holds Qualifications in Computer Science and Comptia a+. He has built up his technical experience supporting customers for a leading 4G network provider in the UK. Prior to that, he supported internal employees for a leading Canadian Financial Services Company. Ollie is a member of our IT Helpdesk and provides remote support for IT related print, copy and scan issues. He offers both onsite and remote support, trouble shooting and problem resolution. He also facilitates the installation of new devices on customer sites. In his spare time he enjoys all aspects of music and web design.

Podge Horgan | Service Engineer

Podge Horgan joined the Docutec team in June 2019 and is based in Limerick. He joined a growing team of solutions engineers who have expertise in both pre and post-sales support. He has over 15 years’ experience as a field engineer within the printer and copier industry. He knows machines and has supplemented this knowledge with relevant IT experience. Aware of how the industry is evolving, Podge has made a very conscious decision to incorporate more IT skills into the regular machine fix role. Prior to this, Podge worked for many years as a service engineer in the security industry. This experience serves him well as the importance of security is an element of our industry that is in full growth mode. Christened Padraic, he is known by family and friends as Podge and although no-one really knows why, he is rarely called by any other name. He lives in Limerick City with his wife and their daughter. In his free time, he enjoys listening to alternative rock and going to concerts. Like many of his colleagues, he is sports mad and thoroughly enjoys following the progress of the Limerick Hurling and Munster Rugby teams.

Donagh Maher | Solutions Architect

Donagh joined the Cantec Group in January 2021 working with the SmartOffice division of the company. As a Solutions Architect his role will be to deliver efficient and sustainable software automation solutions to our customers. He is responsible for designing, delivering and leading software projects and extending the SmartOffice product offering to both new customers and our existing Docutec client base. With a proven history in sales and product development, Donagh has consistently delivered cost effective Managed Print and Solutions to clients. However, an interest in technology combined with upskilling and organic research saw him become a technology subject matter expert. He also completed a degree in Business Management to complement his role. From Burgess, in County Tipperary, Donagh is probably best known for his accomplishments on the GAA field and is proud to have represented his county at all levels. He holds two Munster Championship medals and three All Ireland Hurling medals. Although officially retired from the game, he can still be found on the pitch, sliotar and hurl in hand. To relax and unwind, he has been known to enjoy a nice G&T.

Finance & Administration

Eadaoin Carrick 2019

Éadaoin Carrick | Operations Director

Éadaoin joined the Cantec team in September 2000 having previously spent nine years in various roles in the Civil Service. Éadaoin has trained in Computer Programming, and has successfully completed several modules in WIT’s Business Programme including Financial Management & Accounting and Business Law. Éadaoin manages the accounts/admin team at Cantec and is responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, including implementing new systems to improve efficiencies. Éadaoin spends her free time cycling, gardening and enjoying good food, and she is involved in the running of the Symphony Club of Waterford – a not-for-profit music promotion organisation.

Hazel Cotterell

Hazel Cotterell | Finance & Administration Director

Hazel started with the Cantec Group in October 2016. She graduated from University of Limerick with a Bachelor of Business Degree and qualified as a Chartered Accountant after completing training with PWC. Hazel enjoys all things sport – she is a Kilkenny hurling fan, a camogie enthusiast, and a keen cyclist.

Bridin Ryan

Bridin Ryan | Accounts Receivable Administrator

Bridin joined Cantec in 2006, bringing with her thirteen years accounts/admin experience. She is based in our Limerick office dealing with accounts queries, general admin and cash collection. She enjoys reading, walking and all aspects of drama and theatre.

Peter Prelovsky

Peter Prelovsky | Operations Co-Ordinator

Peter became a member of the Cantec team in August 2016. He is responsible for the receipt of incoming goods to the central warehouse as well as the efficient despatch of supplies to Cantec’s broad base of clients. Peter is a keen fitness enthusiast, in addition to spending many weekends trekking the hills he enjoys attending his local gym.

Brid Whyte Profile

Brid Whyte | Accounts Assistant

Brid Whyte joined the company in March 2020 and is part of the Finance & Admin team. She graduated from WIT in 2017 with an Honours Bachelor of Business Degree and immediately joined the workforce, first with Glanbia and then with EirGen Pharma. In search of more challenging work, Brid was also seeking broader experience of accounting practises and was enticed to Cantec by the role of Accounts Assistant. She is keen to work within a smaller team with increased exposure to a wider range of tasks. From Kilrossanty in West Waterford, she is an avid fan of all things GAA. Her family have huge involvement in the local club and she played football until quite recently when she hung up her boots. She now keeps fit by running and doing weekly exercise classes. A self-confessed shopaholic, she really enjoys her retail therapy, listening to music and reading. Her approach to life is to embrace all it throws at you. She believes firmly in the power of hard work and be it for sports, education or work, she loves to see the benefits of her effort.

John Kearney | Stock Co-Ordinator

John joined the Cantec Group in October 2020 as Stock Co-Ordinator. Working as part of the Finance and Administration team, John is based in our Waterford headquarters. His role includes picking and packing parts to send to customers and technicians, purchasing, and stock control. His background is in Sales and he worked with Eishtec for four years before moving to Taxback International for a year. John learned lots from these roles and greatly enjoyed the experience. As the youngest member of our team, John is looking forward to developing his career with Cantec and availing of the many opportunities that our expanding company can offer. From Waterford, John lives in Tramore with his girlfriend. They have two dogs – a pug and a British Bulldog who encourage them to walk the beach very regularly. A former Waterford City player, he now spends more time watching rugby than playing and is an avid Munster fan. He loves to travel and is keen to add Australia and New Zealand to the list of places he has visited.

Pam Jones | Office Administrator

I am from Cape Town in South Africa and moved to Ireland in March 2020. It was an interesting time to move to a new country! My career to date has been quite diverse as initially, I studied Personal Fitness Training. As soon as I had my diploma, I went in a completely different direction and took an administration role. However, I love it and have worked in a variety of roles as Personal Assistant, Office Management and Sales Co-ordination. For 15 years, prior to our migration to Ireland, my husband and I ran a commercial tyre company. Despite its success, we were keen to move to Ireland and raise our family here. I joined the Cantec Group in February 2021, working with the Finance and Administration team as Office Administrator. The role is busy and interesting, and I enjoy the constant interaction with both customers and colleagues. At the weekend, I love spending time with my children and husband and an enjoyable evening would see me reading or painting. We are all hockey fans and I umpire and coach with Waterford Hockey Club. We play golf and enjoy spending time outdoors.

Greg Tuohy | Managing Director

Greg was appointed Managing Director in June 2011 and is the driving force behind the team at the Cantec Group. Immediately after completing a Science degree at UCC in 1995, Greg was coaxed into joining the family copier/printer business to “give it a go for a year”. The intervening years have seen him graduate from being a delivery boy to an account manager and then company director. His philosophy, handed down from his father, is to ensure that customers can truly depend on the service offered by the Cantec Group. Greg is a dedicated husband and father of two. He reportedly played rugby quite well in the past, but plays golf and five-a-side soccer quite badly now.
